Customer Support Engineer f/m/d

As a customer support engineer you provide expert support to our customers and colleagues around the globe to find the right solution for her/his request as well as carry out on-site assignements and consulting within the AVL product portfolio.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Worldwide customer support in the area of automation, measurement and control technology, electrification as well as measurement devices
Communication interface in the processing of any inquiries from customers and AVL service technicians
Independent analysis and solution of technical inquiries
Coordination and monitoring of troubleshooting in close cooperation with the AVL development departments
Carrying out on-site assignments at the customer's premises within the scope of the Customer Services product portfolio (service assignments, start-up / operation support) or Support at AVL locations worldwide
Participation in the improvement of fault diagnosis tools and in the further development of AVL products with regard to diagnostic possibilities
Customer-specific consulting with regard to innovations in the AVL product and service portfolio

YOUR PROFILE:

Completed education (Secondary Technical College, University of Applied Sciences, University) in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, or similar
Initial experience in commissioning Knowledge of AVL Instrumentation and Test Systems products an advantage, but not a prerequisite
Strong communication skills and analytical thinking skills
Customer and market oriented thinking
Ability to work in a team and flexibility
Very good written and spoken German and English
Willingness to travel worldwide (max. 30%)

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €41,440.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
